Here we are! New to the blogging world, we are hoping to use
this as a space to document and share our teaching style with anyone who is
interested in reading. Between the two
of us, we have over eighteen years of teaching experience which includes 5
different grade levels in 6 different states.
We have reached a point in our career where we have figured out a few
things that work and hope that by sharing our style we can motivate, encourage,
and inspire a few other teachers.
We (Megan and Sara) currently teach 4th grade in
Houston, Texas and have been BTF (best teacher friends) for the past two
years. We have that teaching connection that
comes across just every now and then, and we are excited to be able to share
our creative collaborations with you.
We are just getting started so if you happen to stumble
across our blog please check back in the upcoming weeks. We have some great
things in our near future that we will be sharing, including a professional
development trip in Chicago, Writing Camp for our incoming 4th
graders, and of course all our tips and tricks for setting up a stellar
classroom for a successful year. We hope you will stick with us!
